Plan to enroll full-time at an accredited two-year or four-year college, university or vocational-technical school for the entire 2020-2021 academic year. Express an interest in energy and a demonstrated aptitude in STEM

  • Plan to enroll full-time in one of the following majors:
    • Engineering (electrical, mechanical, computer, industrial, environmental)
    • Computer Science/Information Systems
    • Cyber Security

eQuality Scholarship

Amount- $6,000

eQuality Scholarship     In order to apply for the high school scholarship you must meet the following criteria: be a resident of northern or central California, have completed or complete high school or equivalent between July 1, 2014 and June 30, 2019, and plan to attend or have begun attending an accredited post-secondary institution (college, university, or vocational/trade school) for the first time in 2018. The criteria on which scholarship recipients will be selected include:

  • Service to the LGBT+ community
  • Leadership
  • Hardship or special circumstances
  • Academic achievement

Ruiz 4 Kids Scholarship Deadline: Deadline 2/20/20

Ruiz 4 Kids Scholarship Program: 3 Awards 1st ~2,500        2nd ~2,000 and 3rd ~1,500


  • Must be a high school senior with a minimum overall 3.0 GPA if applying to attend a 4-year college/university, and 2.5 GPA if applying to attend a trade school or community college. (Official sealed Transcripts required).  
  • Participate in extra-curricular activities (school and/or community-related).  
  • Must be a full-time student.  
  • Plan to attend a two or four-year college, or an accredited trade school.

Tulare County Office of Education, College Night

Tulare County Office of Education College Night Committee is proud to offer a $1,000 scholarship, renewable for up to four consecutive years.   Qualified candidates will meet the following criteria:

  • 2018 Graduate of a Tulare County High School
  • Possess 3.0 cumulative High School GPA
  • Exhibit exceptional leadership skills, service involvement, and financial need
  • Plan to attend an accredited college/university as a full-time student (12 units or more), for four consecutive years beginning the 2019-2020 academic year
  • Participate in College Night Scholarship interview on April 26, 2018 (nine finalists only)

The Visalia Rotary Community Foundation Deadline 3/2020 The Visalia Rotary Community Foundation announces the Provident Salierno Family Foundation Music Scholarship. This scholarship is for students interested in a music career who maintains a 3.0 or greater grade point average. The scholarship currently provides about $600 per year for the student. Applicants must complete an application packet, 2 letters of recommendation, personal statement and meet other criteria.  The scholarship application is available at or see Mrs. Alonzo
Tulare County Farm Bureau Scholarship-Deadline 3/1/20

To be Eligible to Apply:

  • The student must attend high school currently or have graduated from a high school in Tulare County
  • Undergraduate and Graduate students may be considered.
  • Must complete and return the application (link below)
  • Must submit two distinct letters of recommendation

Robert Harrell Career & Technical Education Scholarship- Deadlines: TBD

The Robert Harrell Career and Technical Education Scholarship

This scholarship currently gives approximately 30 scholarships at $1,000 each for various vocational-technical programs. The scholarship is for a student who is from Visalia (or lives in Tulare County and is attending a vocational program in Visalia) and is pursuing a vocational-technical school in an accredited institution. California Chapter Women in Mining Scholarship: Deadline 3/8/19
Amount 2,500

Women in Mining, California Chapter, seeks scholarship candidates who possess a commitment to obtain an education leading to a degree through a course of study related to mining, geology, engineering or environmental studies. Applicants must currently maintain a 3.0 or higher GPA. The successful scholarship finalists must provide proof of full-time enrollment in secondary education prior to receiving the award.

California Wine Grape Growers Foundation (CWGGF)-Deadline 3/6/20

The application is currently not available

(CWGGF) is offering at least six scholarships to graduating seniors whose parent(s)/ legal guardian is/ was a vineyard employee working in the 2015/2018  wine grape growing season.

To qualify for the scholarships, students must:

  • Be graduating from high school and planning to attend a California four-year university/state college or a two-year community college in the fall;
  • Have a parent or legal guardian who was employed by a California wine grape grower during the current or past growing season;
  • Complete the application;
  • Attach an official high school transcript;
  • Provide a letter of recommendation from an instructor, school principal or counselor that includes their signature and provides the address, telephone number, and position held at the school;
  • Submit a 500-word essay (approximately 2 pages, see the application for details);
  • Attach a copy of your SAT or ACT results if you are applying for a 4-year scholarship
