not so lonely guy many scientists believe that the brain did not change after childhood it was hot bod and fixed by the time we became adults  recent advances in only the last decade now tell us that this is simply not true brain can and does change throughout our lives it is a ductable  plastic it's neuroscientist coldest neuroplasticity how does neuroplasticity work if you think of your brain as a dynamic connected power grid there are billions of Pathways a Rhodes lighting up every time you think feel would do something some of these roads are well travel these are all habits I was stablish ways of thinking do you like I'm doing every time we think in a certain way practice a particular task or feel a specific emotion we strengthen this road becomes easier for Brian's to travel this path way  sing about something different linen Utah's would choose a different emotion we stopped having at a new road if we keep traveling that road I'll brain speaking to use his pathway more and this new way of thinking feeling or doing second nature  the old pathway gets used less and less and weekends this process of rewiring your brain by forming new connections and singing robots is neuroplasticity in action the good news is that we all have the ability to learn and change by rewiring a Brian's if you have ever changed too bad habit will thought about something differently you have caused any pathway in your brain and experience near and plasticity firsthand which repeated and directed attention to what you decide change you can rewire your brain
